I’m Hannah Vy Nguyen (she/her), a human-centered Researcher & Designer based in Philadelphia, PA with 3+ years of experience in driving human-centered, research-led design for products and platforms.

My background spans development, design, and research across organizations including SAP, Securian Financial, and Temple University’s Human-Computer Interaction Lab, where my work contributed to four co-authored HCI publications. This blend of research rigor and real-world application shapes how I approach design: thoughtful, grounded, and impact-driven.

Beyond my 9-5, I work on growing the Philly tech and design community. I serve as 2026 Chair of ACM SIGCHI Philadelphia (PhillyCHI), where our goal is to increase accessible/low-cost UX education, professional development, and community programming across the region. I also served on the organizing committee of a major HCI conference, leading design for the ACM Conversational User Interfaces Conference (CUI 2026) in Bremen, Germany.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me hopping between neighborhood cafés (I have many favorites!), listening to indie rock, and finding inspiration in everyday design!
